Ha ha, that is amazing!!!  Glad they found a use for it. I have seen them in gardens and have heard of one being used as a portaloo!!

Truly a lovely watercolour!
Is is truly bygone?
It cleaves to my mind's images
of the English countryside.
Did you omit telephone lines
- or were they by any chance underground?

Thank you for your kind comments. Not sure about the telephone lines, probably underground but it was done mainly from memory and I tend to only remember details that appeal to me. It is a typical English countryside scene but sadly becoming rarer.

Thank you, it is the telephone boxes that are becoming rare, not the scenery!!

Defo Yorkshire Moors. I'm getting "American Werewolf in London"..."Stay on the road. Keep clear of the moors. Beware the moon, lads."

Your attention to atmosphere and the stony detail of the wall is arresting. You keep surprising me, Jen and I love it!

Just love your imagination and wit, no wonder you are an artist, both qualities essential in huge quantities. Thank you for the fave, I cherish it.

It has a real nostalgic quality.. I am reminded of the television series "Heartbeat".. The landscape, the era...
I love the composition, and the eye is led up the road, stopping at the phone box and resting on the wall before being led further into the beyond (desolation and beauty).
